Jan Erik Vold:
Vokal is a box set consisting of three CDs and one DVD, which features the Complete Recordings of the Norwegian poet, translator and jazz&poetry artist during the years 1966 – 1977.

Jan Erik Vold’s J&P collaborations with the Jan Garbarek Quartet/Quintet and the Garbarek-Stenson Group were originally featured on the releases Briskeby blues, HAV, Trikkeskinner and ingentings bjeller. They cover the first two CDs of the boxset. The third CD showcases Vold as a solo performer, on rare recordings of recitations from his poetry books of the sixties and seventies, including a bilingual co-reading with American poet Robert Creeley. The DVD included in the box contains a number of TV appearances, radio broadcasts, unreleased live recordings and also a slideshow with press clippings and private photos – all presented for the first time.

Jan Erik Vold: Vokal comes with a 72-page booklet, featuring several new essays on Vold’s work by Jan Erik Vold, Lars Mørch Finborud, Per Hovdenakk, Erling Okkenhaug & Walter Baumgartner.
